If you want a good building tip, start simple. If you go back to my very first few aircraft they are absolute garbage, but now I goten pretty good with designs. If your making a custom wing use a fuselage peice. What I do is I make it between 1 and.5 thick depending on the size of the plane and I make the dimensions to how I want the wing to look and I just make it circular. That's it. Also for a simple way to make landing gear, go into xml got to input and make the minimum 0 and chage the input to LandingGear exactly like that capital L and G or it wont work. After that you can learn more and more about funky trees and slowly you skills will get better. Me just starting to make my build more complex, my most complex one was around 140 parts, compared to my usual 20-40 parts. Also try getting designs that will capture people's attention, like with my dragsters I added simple striping and a bit of engine detail and last I checked one go 64 downloads, the most I got for one of my creations. Some of these tip should help. But I think the major one is from my buddy Panthers down there, TAKE YOUR TIME everyone starts somewhere like I said my first creations suck but you work on it and everything slowly start getting better. One this too is consistenty, if you make good enough stuff then people will start to notice you on the site and your popularity will grow. The first time I got the attention of a pro builder is my first shot at modeled wing, acepilot109 upvoted it and gave me good feedback, and it motivated me to do more and work on my skills. Then I met senalPelpmiS and he helped me with my vehicles, mainly suspensions, I cant do suspensions but with my semi truck I didn't need any help and it came out pretty well. Just practice skills and your be good.
