I am going to start experimenting on making an oblique flying wing prototype and I want the sweep wing system to be automatic but I don't know what input it is to make that happen. Basically when the plane starts picking up speed(e.g around 750km/h) the wing starts to swing slowly and when it breaks the sound barrier it will be fully swept by 60°. Can that be even done?
@Grob0s0VBRa I understand now, thank you again!
@Aldriech
208 m/s approx. 750 km/h
127 = 335 - 208
Where :
335 m/s
is a speed of sound208 m/s
the speed at which wings will start to swing@Grob0s0VBRa thanks! But what do the numbers mean?
@Aldriech
Try this :
clamp((IAS - 208) / 127,0,1)
