when i turn my plane left in mid flight i press the elevator pitch up button and what should happen is the plane should turn normally but this doesnt happen with my plane. what happens is i turn my plane while pressing the elevator pitch up button and it doesnt turn. instead it banks sharply and turns into an uncontrolable barrel roll and this problem happens with both aleron rolls. the plane has 11 control surfaces. does anyone know why this happens? and also could not enough engine airflow also be a cause of this problem?
thank you guys for helping me fix the problem.
problem fixed. the plane now flies properly.
@Typhoon_ oh ok.
The red line (CoM) must be in front of the blue line (CoL).
i just discovered that putting weight on the front of the plane i had better control of it.
@jamesPLANESii none of them worked:(
@jamesPLANESii ok i will try those things.
Reduce the size of your elevators, or, reduce the wing load by making your plane lighter, or, set your wings to semi-symmetric or flat bottom.
Or, you can do all of those things lol
@metaphysicalgnome i tried and i got the same results.
@metaphysicalgnome ok
@avgeek101 then put dead weight in the front.
@metaphysicalgnome for some reason it is after the blue bubble.
@avgeek101 because if it isn't, then the red bubble should be before the blue one.
@metaphysicalgnome no it is an airliner. it is a boeing 747.
@avgeek101 is it a VTOL plane?
@metaphysicalgnome i checked the com and it is directly in the middle of the fuselage. i have a feeling it is either the control surfaces, the engines or a design flaw.
idk maybe check the com. or just a design flaw.
