Here’s how I got interested in aviation!
Me, my sister, and my mom took a trip to Pacific City, Oregon. I was into Five Nights At Freddy’s at the time, so everything I did was all about FNAF. We went up to the Tillamook Air Museum and learned about the cool, and sad history about the two hangers, well, one now (they were used to hold ww1 blimps, and the other one got turned into a storage for hay. If you don’t know, when hay gets to hot, it explodes. It burned down the hanger, and now there are just massive pillars in its ruins.) They had tons of planes! Like the F-14, A-7, C-23, A-26, Ercoupe, Mig-15 Midget(two seat model), I think they had a mig-17???, Mooney(I think), and many others! After we left, I felt connected to the building, and couldn’t stop talking about the burned down one. I downloaded a flight simulator to play with, and soon after my sister did to(she just thought it was cool, she is the total opposite of me. She says I’m a republican, and she’s a democrat lol). When we were heading home, we stopped by my favorite place in the world, the McMinnville Air Museum! I saw all of the cool airplanes they had there. The Spruce Goose is the coolest plane that they have! (And it is correct that the Spruce Goose is bigger than the An-225! Don’t try to tell me I’m wrong!) I took a picture with the A-10, and didn’t think it would impact my life, until I got home and asked my grandpa and dad what it was. Now here’s a fun fact: I’ve liked planes ever since I was 5, I just never knew it! My grandpa and dad didn’t know what it was, so I searched up, “Modern Fighter Jets”. And the A-10 was one of the first to come up. I started learning more about planes, until I came up with the idea, I wanted to fly fire planes! Yeah I scrapped that one very quickly! I then decided the Air Force was the place to go. I went to the Oregon Airshow, which had another big impact on me. Later that year in July, I went to EAA AirVenture 2019! I decided that I wanted to join the AirForce because of the F-35, F-22, EA-18 Growler, and the A-10. Some time later before Christmas, I decided I wanted to become an airshow pilot. Now most of you would say I don’t know what I want to do, and my ideas will change. But I don’t believe that. I know what I want to do, and I’m sticking to it! I would like to thank my aviation inspirations!
