My Simple Planes (legal copy purchased on steam) keeps crashing whenever I click the play button using Steam. The game runs fine when I run it through the executable in the Steam path though. I tried forcing Direct3D 9 and disabling addons, but it still won't launch. The settings show that I am running 1080p full screen.
My system specs:
Ryzen 7 3700x
RTX 2060 Super
16GB DDR4 3200
500GB SSD + 4TB HDD (Simple Planes is on HDD)

UPDATE: So anyways I reset my BOIS to Optimized Defaults and now it's working again. I have no idea why. The most likely problem is the Ryzen Master auto-overclock. Computers are confusing.

@AndrewGarrison I had already tried that.
After extensive google-ing over the past day or two, most people who have this problem fixed it by uninstalling "Citrix Workspace". However, I do not have "Citrix Workspace" installed, never heard of it either. I tried re-installing Visual C++ and DirectX, but to no avail.
Please help me. I initially had this problem with Simple Planes but I realized that none of my Unity games worked. I have been trying to fix this problem for almost a week now.
Okay, try this:
First, back up any of your saved planes that you want to keep. They should be located here:
%userprofile%\AppData\LocalLow\Jundroo\SimplePlanes\AircraftDesigns\Then, try renaming the SimplePlanes folder at this location to SimplePlanes.Backup

@jamesPLANESii My Simple Planes crashes instantly, the second the window pops up. The window just closes.
@PlaneFlightX So Simple Planes cannot be launched using Steam anymore? I remember that I used to be able to on my old computer.
I have a taskbar shortcut and a desktop shortcut.
For me starting SP with steam takes an exceedingly long time for some reason, like, a normal game would take around 7 seconds, but sometimes SP can take 30. Idk why.
