The Partnership between “Faceshot” and “ Toro” started just before the lighthouse war when they were first assigned to the last F-14B Squadron in the Osean fleet. During the war they transitioned to the F-14D and were in Mage squadron with Trigger for a short time before Trigger was sent to a penal unit. They spent the rest of the war flying for Mage Squadron shooting down a total of 30 Aircraft (I know that isn’t that good in AC standards but it’s realistic).
After the end of the lighthouse war the pair enforced the Eurasian No Fly Zone with their 31st and 32nd kills being two F-22s That had been stolen. After the squadron transitioned to the Super Hornet “Faceshot” left to form the yella fellas with many of his squadron mates joining. They operated upgraded Mirage 3s for a very short time flying interception missions for that New Zeeland shaped island in the south. After 2 months went buy they traded the Mirage 3s for F-4bs and continued to fly for the New Zeeland country thing. When Toro and the other RIOs heard this they ran to the squadron to fly with their old squadron mates. They then left ( sry I don’t know the name ) New Zeeland country thingy for Asami Islands to get F-14Bs in exchange for help in the intruder war.
