There's so many situations ATC would have to deal with, plus we'd need radios, transponders, and ELTs. Not as simple as it sounds.

I don't know if it goes with the sandbox feel of the game, but having other things to interact with would be neat

the problem with ATC is that you will have to take some focus off of flying to talk to the tower by typing. the added realism would be neat, though
