Hello!
Recently I’ve been getting into making logos and I would like to get some feedback on them. I also noticed how everybody has their own fictional aviation company so I suppose I should announce my own!
Thorne Aeronautical
I tried to make it look somewhat classic (70s-80s aviation) without compromising on modern taste in design.
All opinions are welcome, I would like to see what people think of these designs!
If you have your own fictional company and would like a design like this, let me know and I might make one for you in my free time.
I made this same post on SimpleRockets with another logo, it would blend in with the background here so I didn’t include it, if you would like to have a look, click here

I'm thrilled with my new logo! It perfectly encapsulates my brand's essence—bold, vibrant, and timeless. The design reflects creativity and professionalism. The colors evoke a sense of warmth and festivity, making it versatile for various contexts. It's like finding the right image for a special moment, just like discovering the perfect visual at Depositohotos. Truly delighted with the outcome!
perfect!
Wow, this looks pretty interesting!
Thank you! @LucasNicky
cool
Looks like it @FLOWRIDER0
@Thorne Okay?
Nasa checkerboard
Thanks! 🙏 @tsampoy
I put a bunch of shapes together in a group and exported it as png file, it’s pretty unorthodox but it works for technically simpler designs lol @WarshipDude
It is a little strange lol, I’ve gotten too familiar with it @Spectres
Nice!
I use IbisPaint which is apparently deemed better than Adobe Photoshop
@Thorne how the hell did you draw on a goddamn Excell?
Better than my logos lmao. And powerpoint is a strange thing to use for it.
Maybe try a program called Inkscape, it’s probably a lot better and professional than my Mickey-mouse sort of PowerPoint method lol @KettleKip
@Thorne ooooooo ok lol thx
It’s just like google slides 😂 except by Microsoft, you can do it on excel too but I like PowerPoint better because you can align things better, I don’t think it’s free but sometimes you can access it through a school account, or try it for free. It’s hard to describe how exactly to do it and I think it might work on google slides too, but I use free form shapes on a lot of what I do to create vectors lol @KettleKip
@Thorne also how do i do this? all its giving me is something a lot similar to google slides lol
oh shoot its free right?
@Thorne power point. hmm. is this an app or a website? ik what it is lol but not sure if its app or web
I used PowerPoint and exported it as a png lol, you can also use it to export things in .svg format as a substitute for Adobe illustrator! To do it I group my selections, right click, and select ‘save as image’ @KettleKip
epic! (where/how/what website did you use to make this
Thanks guys @ImaCat @Yourcrush
