How to mass-edit xml! (iOS)
- Save your build
- Go to the files app
- Go to on my iPhone/iPad
- Go to the SimplePlanes folder, then find the aircrafts folder
- Find your plane’s file (you do NOT want the .bak version)
- Copy everything on the page
- Go to a text editor like pages or google docs, paste it in an empty document, and hit “find and edit”
- For the find section, put the xml value you want to change, and put what you want it to change from, in this format: exampleValue=“false”, and set replace with to the same thing, but with the the desired result instead (like this: exampleValue=“true”)
- Hit replace all
- Copy everything
- Hit export as txt
- Find a website like this to make that txt file into an xml file, and use the exact same file name as the original file.
- Delete the original file. Afterwards, you can go back and turn on drag on any parts you want through overload.
When I change massScale it doesn’t change for all parts + I get error message after replacing the file. Any tips?
