Edit: released
Works on iOS, Android, Pc, and Mac!
I did this on iOS. It only moves ships, it doesn’t make new ones, and it only works when you start from a certain spawn location. Before you ask, I cannot manipulate convoy trucks, the map, or the brown pearl. I’m working with @WereOutOfNames to make this possible.
TL;DR: I’m working with @WereOutOfNames to make the first ever iOS plug-in! It moves the boats to make a kind of “super-fleet”.
Plug-ins comply with Apple’s tos, but mods don’t. This is a plug-in, not a mod.
@Ren ikr!
@GhostOfKyiv yes, also including addons work as well, mods do not work on ios, you are right
@Truckdude8888 You just replied to a 1.8 year old post XD
@KnightOfRen specifically acer chromebook spin 311
@KnightOfRen I hav an acer chromebook
@JustDatGuy
Hey is this compatible for android? Specificly, acer chromebook?
@SuperRoto @Sovietstrike333 Did u read the top? It’s done.
T
This is cool! T
hUh
@JustDatGuy
@JeskoGoesVROOM Idk. Probably does the same thing as ortho view.
just a question: what does the mentioned "ortho" paint theme look like?
@Numbers By uploading a blank .sp-mod file to get past the upload file screen, and change the download link to this file.
@Numbers He can’t. Those use .sp-mod, and you can only change .xml through the files app, unless we jailbroke our phones. And that ruins the phone.
@Numbers Nope. I can’t change the map. Only move boats.
@WereOutOfNames i mean plugins.
@JustDatGuy no, i mean that android was like better than ios because of the mods (even after 1.9), and now it's equal. but again, my ios pleb friend can download the mods now, so that's cool.
@banbantheman It actually does work on android.
I'm at school right now hehehehhe
aight
@JustDatGuy
complains in android
if serious, this is really cool.
finally my retardiplodocus friend can start playing with mods.
@vcharng You are right, the aggression still goes by would-be fleet.
@exosuit @Numbers @AndrePlaysSP All I had to do was copy everything from the file that handles spawn locations, put it in pages, edit it, copy that, put it in an online xml editor so I could make it an xml file, and replace the old locations file with the new one.
@WereOutOfNames read my comment
.
like I said, there's probably a way to add objects since XML modding on iOS was already a thing for years although it was quite limited at that time (and probably still is)
