Simpleplanes is no longer so "simple", and I think the game can be more "fair" if every player can built accurate planes or replicas. Here is some ideas for more variety and more nice planes also for not so skilled player (let enlarge the base, it's advantage for us and also for devs)
* Round/curved/smooth/hard edges *
Adding the possibility to made not only "front" and "rear" part with the selected edges, but also the "top" and "bottom".
No, you cant simply rotate it, because yoy still have some not rounded or smoothed edges.
* Number of sides *
Not only four sides fuselages. Also triangular shaped, 5 sides, 6 sides.
Lot of old planes (like Me-262) or new ones have complex fuselage shape. Let us do them with a little bit less pain.
* U shaped body *
Basically a fuselage-hollow with one side removed, to create cockpits. This is now important due to new fuselage-glass.
* U shaped glass *
Same than the previous, but transparent.
* Pilots *
Gestour did a Beautifull mod for pilot figure. Please, integrate it in the game, or (at least) rework the Passenger-1 object throwing away the big seat.
* Instrumentation *
Gestour (again) did TWO beautifull mods for old and new instruments. Please, can you add it in the game?
* Landing Gear *
We need procedural ones, or more controll on the landing gear shape.
* Wings *
Please, we need wings with the shape of a wing, not the shape of a flat cardboar box
* Roundels and numbers/letters *
Please, made something that we can "paint" on the surface, so we can "write" instead of ad 600 pieces to our planes
* Camouflages *
Some pre-edit camouflage paint that you can simply ad with a click choosen component. There are games that allow this, I don't want to publicize them, but... hey, you surely undestand what I mean.
* Pin-ups and nose art *
Self esplicative, isnt it?
* Tracks *
Please, thanks are just around the corner. Ad tracks please.

Very epic idea. With the U-shape, we can make opening canopies with ease! And better tapered wings, the improved one!
@FeatherWing if you have the letter ready to be "painted" and auto adapted to surface, as I asked in the post, this feature is useless, I think.
Btw, I feel like a new 'feature' would be that you can scale down things like letters that are made out of multiple fuselage blocks connected together without the pieces pulling themselves (visually) apart.
If this would be possible, it would be really nice to have.

I mean, how I would see that is it would be helpful for less experienced players. Like you could still make your instruments, but it requires Funky Trees to make them properly, so they could be helpful for people who want working instruments, but don't know or are in the process of learning Funky Trees.
Oh, I forgot TRACKS! :D Another thing we need.
I agree on most points, but instruments are incredibly easy to make now... and far more customizable than mod ones.
