Overview

Built to the specifications of the Novanian Armed Forces NTU program to maintain the Caracal MBT's superiority against all contemporary and coming MBT designs, the Caracal 2A4 features massively upgraded electronics and a revolutionary armor design that adds upon its already superior base armor*. The new model also features the HA Modular Expansion Package G2 which further increases all round protection with a marginal weight increment. The improved CARDINAL V FCS and FORTRESS M2 Active Protection systems are also installed. The original Bluewater C98M6 120mm smoothbore gun has also been upgunned to the C98M7 120mm ETC smoothbore gun with a quick conversion package for the C100M1 130mm smoothbore gun.

FORTRESS M2 Active Protection System in action

*Armor layout and design tested with AnSyS/finite element simulations with help of a friend. Extremely good protection against both KE and chemical energy penetrator with exaggerated performance. But do take this with a pinch of salt as computer simulations may not reflect real world scenarios. (NOT modelled in SP, obviously >:))
