The third installment on my series on challenges
So, I have received a lot of criticism on my challenges, but few have told me how to improve, but many instead just state the obvious: That my challenges are horrible. What should I do anyway?
Note that I host these challenges primarily for the community. While I want to get points, that is not the main purpose, which is to get the community to present and compete with their best builds.
Another question that I have is about point farming. While we post things for others to enjoy, we are also doing so to earn points. As this is one of our intentions, why is this/is this not point farming, and what is the exact definition for point farming?
@ChrisETH ooh noice
@RuvienRuvienTheCitizen im doing that same thing!
@APilotOfPlanes your track record is so dirty m8, u need to hire a carpet cleaner
no offense, but its not looking good
@ChrisETH about how I can't judge entries, I think I have shown my judging capability with choosing the plane in the thumbnail, and my track record. To be honest, yes it was the frequent challenges that got people tired of it. Before, people actually liked them. Ugh my track record
m8 u should stop with the challenges, their so many
@APilotOfPlanes good to hear that then
@RuvienRuvienTheCitizen uhhhh I made rank brackets already...
@AsteroidAsteroidTheBook ofc your logging challenge
It’s great
(look at my profile pic while reading for full experience)
A challenge ain't a competition. jk
.
just a suggestion:
.
the situation:
unfair match-ups during challenges, for instance, platinum players commonly dominate over the much lower ranks, causing the crowd's attention to divert directly to the plats, leaving the low ranks further behind.
.
resolution:
during the awarding, making 'rank brackets' would pretty much do the job.
'Rank brackets' is simply dividing the participants into groups according to their ranks, therefore creating a pretty fair match-up for everyone.
porcelain
bronze
silver
gold
platinum
so during the awarding, there will be 1st, 2nd, and 3rd places for each rank, not one for all. judging might be harder though...

@APilotOfPlanes eh u have a point
@APilotOfPlanes not too nice, but idk why people wont explain i guess i mean they have id ur challenges suck
@ChrisETH tbh I find it mean to not tell
@ChrisETH too nice?
@APilotOfPlanes well u asked for it, most people are too nice to explain why sometimes.
@ChrisETH the rule has been removed. Thank you. You’re not entitled, but someone has finally bothered to tell me something that’s actually bad lol
sorry if i come off as entitled m8
MATE YOU'RE REQUIREING FUNKY TREES?! sorry excuse me, as a newfound gold, thank you mate, I've never, ever used funky trees. It's why the challenges might be hated, because on one hand, when u require funky trees, some silvers, some gold, and most browns because disinterested. On top of this, requiring an inch perfect plane for a challenge is quite the tall order. That's the problem. Those silvers and bronzes that become disinterested, they drive down the quality of aircraft required, giving the silvers their chance, and the younger golds. When you take that bottom category away, you basically make everyone disinterested by forcing funky trees on everybody, and drive quality up until everyone is disgruntled. And what drives that home is the fact you ask for a single plane. Asking for a certain group of fighters is much better, but what separates, for example's sake your bush challenge, and the MIG challenge, is the much more lenient MIG challenge rules. I dont wanna be mean, youre a good user, this is why others might not like the challenge.
one sec im about to check whats wrong with your challenges m8
