Tiny, little change that may make this website a little less dramatic.

Its impossible to stop people from posting "drama". But, we can avoid seeing these posts by making slight changes on how the forums work.

.1. Clicking the "Forums" button from the drop down menu should redirect you to the "Categories" page. This is to reduce clutter and gives you power to only see posts that you care about.

.2. Only one tag per post. This is to stop a posts from appearing on multiple categories.

.3. And more active mod presence to delete posts that has different contents that its tag suggest.

But I do agree on a more active mod presence, maybe even some new mods to help carry the workload.

@BeryllCorp If this is implemented, drama posts will switch from feelings to other tags depending on the users. There is also the third party aspect, where members will share and voice their opinions on the matter. Finally, it would be punishing users who are not even involved by taking away certain features from them.

I believe it would make more sense to add a new rule prohibiting drama posts. The new rules shouldnt be try to cover all corners as it will undoubtedly catch some users in the cross fire. By banning drama posts and giving drama a broad definition, it allows for the mods to judge on a case by case basis.

@DerpTheSoyacfartala if your post has more than one topic then decide which is more important, use the tag for it and do a side mention of what other things you want to discuss

@QuitePossiblyMangled drama post gain attention because it has 10s of upvotes and comments plus they are usually the top post in the forums. Everyone who see such post (even if they have no opinion of it) will think the community is deteriorating.
    .
Drama posts usually has the "feelings" tag. I would imagine that it can only benefit the community if the drama can be contained to those who read posts with this tag (the critics and supporters) while the general public is unaware such a thing is going on.
    .
If your post has 2 topics then decide which one is important.. use the tag for it then do a side mention of the other topic.

Drama posts tend to get upvotes from supporters and comments from critics. Also, what if your forum post includes both a teaser and an announcement?

@BeryllCorp its basically the same with planes
if its a helicopter but it isn't limited to water craft you should put both those tags

    @DerpTheSoyacfartala yes it already exist.

If you click the link above to the categories page, you'll see that it is possible to sort the forums using the tags. BUT, its useless at the moment because we can put upto 5 tags in one forum post.
    .
Also, by redirecting to the categories page instead of the default page which all posts with upvotes are given priority we can avoid categories that may contain drama posts.
