Yeah this isn't really the r/quityourbullshit cringy stuff, but I just got into a car accident about maybe an hour and a half ago, with some family friends. We got brake checked or something by a taxi, all I saw was the taxi stop suddenly and we hit the car head on. We're okay, I'm going to go take a shower. It's more of a status update if anything, and no i'm not asking for upvotes, you only get 2 points per forum upvote. I'm okay, and I'll answer any questions you all have. I'm gonna take a breather and a long hot shower. To prove my point, i'm 14, so I'm going to ask my mom if she has pictures, even though she wasn't with us, to publish here as proof. We're ok, I'm just shellshocked, and my body will hurt like hell in the morning (maybe, my dad said). Just a status update.

Actual Story:

(I wrote this after I got out of the shower)

I'm an unfit 14 year old, who can barely run fast. So my family friends offered to take me to where they train. So for the past few days, i'd been training with a kid i'll call J, and his dad, E. So we were done exercising and practicing stretches and sprints, so we were driving to my house, where they'd drop me off. We were right behind some taxi and we were driving next to a Shell gas station, near an intersection. E was driving, J was in the front seat, and I was in the back talking with J, and then what happened was the taxi stopped when we were driving at 35ish MPH, and then I saw E put his hands up, J didn't notice, and I just closed my eyes. It was out of nowhere, and before I could scream, it was over. The car was smoking everywhere, so we exited. Everyone was okay, and my mom didn't know (she was at home), so imagine her stress when her 14 year old son calls her and tells her that he was just in a car accident. To make matters worse, next to our home, there was a gigantic car collision, parts strewn about, and like 2 ambulances. She didn't know it wasn't my car accident, and was scared, and crying. I called her and tried to tell her what street I was on, but 14 year old me was stupid, (still am) and doesn't know streets. So I was shouting, "SHELL GAS STATION" "BLANK STREET" JACK IN THE BOX "BLANK CHURCH" I took pictures to try and tell her where I was, (they will be dropped below), and she didn't know. Eventually she found me and J at the gas station, (we're neighbors), so she took us home. I just took my shower (the first half was written before the shower, because of forum post limit, and this half is after.) I can answer questions, but i'm still shaken up.
