Gold! My thoughts, Thanks, and everything else.

Its been 1.3 years since I joined this community on September 2018. I've met a lot of cool people, learnt a lot of cool stuff, and made a lot of friends! I never imagined I would have made it here; I created my account as a backup should some of my crafts get deleted. Gold was something far off. To celebrate this occasion, I created this forum post! (I know, many other people have gotten gold. This is boring.)

Achievement get! Gold, 21 November 2020.

Cool people I met:

-p0tato72 (Taught me about everything I know, from panelling to cockpit interiors to ship maneuvering)

-Rockyyy (Inspired my most upvote post)

-Typhoon03(Inspired my first "quality" post)

-SyntheticL

-Chibikitsune

-ShiroNeko

-FoxTrotOne (was an early supporter)

-NAD (First ever upvote)

-Wingworks (Inspired my commercial planes)

There are many more cool people I know, but to keep this list short, I'm only listing those people.

Timeline

First ever build, 8 months ago. 1 upvote, and I was quite proud of myself for it.

First generation of builds

My first generation of builds can be seen as low-quality, low upvote Posts. I was able to pump out multiple posts a day due to the simplicity and lack of quality.

My first Second-Generation build.
29th August, 2020.

The Eremita. Despite it not having a custom thumbnail (the 1.10 beta had been released mere hours before it's release), it was my first quality work, featuring a working VLS and Opening torpedo bay doors. Because I did not know that it could be dedragged, the build nearly melted my phone.

Second-Generation builds.

The second generation was created after realising that Quality > Quantity. All second-gen builds have custom thumbnails and a decently long description. Most of them are panelled. My first Second-gen build is the Eremita class Light corvette.

Conclusion

1.3 years since I've joined this community, I've hit gold. While it's been quite slow, I am quite proud of myself. I will keep improving on my building skills and keep meeting cool people in the SP community.

Thanks a lot!
