Right, so after the lengthy hiatus (busy in business and other games), I've finally got through the hard part of making an aircraft, and somehow progressed far enough to post something.

This will be the second aircraft of the PW series and the first Empire Navy Air Arm aircraft.

It is a Boeing XF8B (Model 400) fighter-bomber. I used the P-63 cockpit interior because too many Mustangs and Thunderbolts have modernized cockpits and it's hard to actually find an "authentic" WWII cockpit out of them.

the performance is designed to match (well actually, outclass a bit) the Union Air Force BMW 803 fighter which is currently the only other member of the series.

Current feature:
- Weapon load: 2x 1600lb skippable bombs on exterior racks; 4x 250lb bombs on interior bomb bay; 10x 5" HVAR rockets; 6x 20mm AN-M2 autocannons.
- Extremely agile (once ordnance dropped)
- Carrier operation
- foldable wings
- Working cowl flaps (fully automatic)
- Working cockpit

Planned feature:
- VOR/TACAN navigation
- Carrier landing assist (using the targeting function)
- Most advanced targeting functions from the 1.10 tech demo aircraft
- (probably) full, authentic startup and shutdown procedure. This is going to be complicated so I may or may not do it.
