Intro:
Hello ladies and gentlemen, and people! I am WiiMini, and i'll be guest hosting the show because of the fact i've sent QuitePossiblyMangled to Brazil. I'll be discussing how to grow fast, as i've grown 12k points in the past month, which should be enough of an insight for you lads!
SP Explained: How to grow your account as fast as possible:
Before we get into the bits and details, I must say what SP Explained is. It is, and I quote QuitePossiblyMangled, "SP Explained is a forum series dedicated to the explanation of topics relating to the SP site and community. It covers a whole variety of topics, from how insignificant forum upvotes are to describing how to use the inter workings of the human mind to your advantage." So with that, let us dive into the inner workings of how to grow your account.
Your first steps into SP:
You've played SP before creating the account you have now. Your first plane will range from some blocks and wings, to fuselages and great creations (there are some exceptions to this rule). SimplePlanes is a hard game to master. It can take sometime, and firstly, you must be putting your hard work into your creations. SimplePlanes is not an easy to beat system. Secondly, you need to have some friends in the website. It is easy to make friends in this website, as 1 month ago, I'd lost all but 1 of my close SP friends, but as we can see now, I have quite a few. Once you have some friends, you should start practicing your trade, and asking those friends for advice. Ideally, they'd be higher level builders, with more experience in the trade. Secondly, you need to use fuselages. Fuselages are the lifeblood of this game, and hardly any planes do well without them coughs German Corsair coughs. But that was a one off. Once you start using the fuselages more and more, you should improve. Growing your account depends on how long you make your planes. Ideally, you'd work for 3-5 days on a plane and upload, as to not spam planes, because people notice. Teasers + Video trailers are a vital part, as when you go with the building process, you can use that time to make people as "hyped" as possible for your aircraft. They will asked to be tagged, and whenever they say that, you will know there is a high chance they will upvote the craft, as they've taken an interest already. Using video trailers is very good to do, as it shows your aircraft's capabilities. This however, requires editing skills.
The Main Parts Of Being A Top Builder
There are a few things that seperate a lowly builder from a good one. Experience is one of these, and knowledge of tools is another. Some of these top builders use something called "blueprinting", where they look up a "plane's profile" which shows the airplane from the side, top and front, like a cross section. Using this method, their aircraft look much more better, and similar to the original. They also on top of that, spend much time on the decals, and look deeply into aircraft characteristics. Custom landing gear is also a big thing. Using xml modding, which there are many tutorials in SP for, you can create realistic xml modded gear, that doesn't poke out. If your gear pokes out, people see you as a novice, and are less likely to upvote. Part positioning is a tool used all the time, and it makes things such as cockpits easier to build, and decals as well.
The please don't dos:
Do not tag people on builds without permission, they will be offended, and will most likely not upvote. Do this a lot, and it gives you a reputation, even after you stop, similar to KnightOfRen's case, even though he only did it a few times. You should also not beg for spotlights and upvotes. Follow my instructions, and you will get them naturally. You shouldn't quit, because these things can take time, but using them all at once has created my growth.
(Sorry @KnightOfRen)
In Conclusion:
In conclusion, you should be patient, practice your building, learn the hidden tools you haven't seen, and if you do all that, and give yourself some room to grow, and make friends, you will see some substantial growth.
Also, I've promised QuitePossiblyMangled a flight out of Rio De Janeiro, so he'll be hosting soon.

@DerpTheSoyacfartala was the one to tag the SP followers, so thank you.
@QuitePossiblyMangled is currently on a flight out of Rio De Janeiro, and has landed in North Korea for the second part of his Pyongyang sponsored "world tour." @QuitePossiblyMangled has landed in Vietnam. @QuitePossiblyMangled has been taken to the USSR, via time machine airways.
@spexplainedguy Me working on a plane for 3.7 years due to abandoning it and coming back to it

I was scrolling through one of my old emails, which is still connected to the account that made this post, so I've chosen to make this account to give you a somewhat speedy response haha
Somewhat shortly after this post, my account was banned immaturely breaking the rules and being a nuisance a few years back (deserved), so that's why I'm unable to respond to you from the account itself. I was allowed to create a new account once things cooled off, which I then deleted. I don't play the game anymore, so it was quite a 'blast from the past' to see a new comment notification on my email.
I'm glad you found the post helpful, but if I could make one minor revision:
Don't take the game too seriously, but have fun! 😂
Cheers,
WiiMini
What happened to this persons account? Did they delete it? Or get banned? Cause this is super helpful, especially for new users.
