I use the blueprint feature ( click the eye on the right side and the the one in the middle of other things ( wow that's going to help) its not the thing to look at the plane) a box on the left will pop up with the words right, top, front, click one and chose how to get your image then click the image and it will pop up in the designer, be careful when moving it, if it disappears then click the same button to open it and on the bottom of those buttons it will pop up with the one you chose a click it and it will reappear.
Well... unfortunately there isn't a way for mobile to use screenshots as thumbnails, if i recall correctly there used to be a function for exactly that but it got removed, this is only possible in PC as far as I know.
Edit : or perhaps use the blueprint function, haven't tried but it might work
