I'm making a 1920s-30s style dive bomber, and I don't want those airbrake thingies on the engine
custom tacticz
use a different prop then make the engine using the fuselage and fuselage inlet then use a fuselage cone to cover the original prop
@plane634 hmm, maybe
Well they're called cowl flaps or radiator flaps, my Google search says so.
Perhaps you can make a "housing" for the radial engine and then put the engine in that housing hiding the cowl flaps?, it seems plausible for me.
Example
@PointlessWhyshouldi off topic, will you be uploading that xf-11?
@PointlessWhyshouldi yes
Do you mean a radial engine?
@ssenmodnar idk lad
@thebanbehindtheslaughter yeah, what are those things called/for anyway?
it ain't possible to get rid of airbrake things on the ww2 engine. shame, really
