Just go to 'Manage Account' on your user page. Go to Gravatar using the link in the 'Manage Account' section (preferably open in a separate tab). If you don't have an account, make one. Then make sure you have the same email you used with SimplePlanes. Add a picture, save it, blah blah. Then when you are done with that, go back to SimplePlanes and click the 'Save' button (same place as the Gravatar link). Then just wait for a bit, your pfp will soon change.
@KnightOfRen hmm. If you have custom cursor or boxel rebound installed, the cost is negated. Also, some android devices are exempt, as Andrew has a soft spot for us androids

They're both wrong, it can only be done on PC, and even then it is 5 euros real life money.(hence the payment options button)
