HAL HF-24 Marut? YES PLEASE!
In Flight
Flaps and Slats!
HOW IT WORKS:
It is the same as normal control surfaces on the stock wing, but i made it backwards so the control surface is at the front. Here's a closer look:
(Normal wings are orange, slats and flaps are blue)

If you decide to use this tech for one of your own builds, please ask and give credit. Thanks!
@KnightOfRen oh ok oops. i haven't been able to play sp for a while now, but i will release it yet.
@FireFast212 The competition is ended now, sorry.
@WiiWiiTheMini ok sorry
@FireFast212 dude what the heck i was just giving valid criticism-
@WiiWiiTheMini I AM NOT FINISHED WITH IT! please dont criticize me if i am not done. this is a TEASER, for gods sake! and the canopy is NOT FINISHED YET! and you should be the last person criticizing me, your planes look ok and fly floppy!
sry if you got offended i was venting. sry.
but now I should probably give what I see unfit (I am very unqualified for this), so here we go:
Ok, based on the real one, using the stock gear ruins the plane. the stock gear you use doesn't look the part of the original.
Secondly, the front wheels were only 1 front wheel, not 2.
Canopy looks like an entirely different plane's
and well, I guess @brians1209 is right about the slats (but I don't use them)
and yeah. it's a good, quality build, just fix those up.
@brians1209 @FireFast212 dang what's the fight going on over when I don't even use tapered wings, or slats, or flaps for that matter-
anyways, I'm gonna go order some killings by tommy gun
@JeskoGoesVROOM its ok, if you apologize thanks
dw, you didnt offend me
and sorry for being so harsh in the first place
@FireFast212
@FireFast212
If you are, use it properly.
I'm not even sure if the Marut had a slat, but if it had, it would be larger, according to the blueprints.
Slat comparison
nose section comparison
The cannon placement, canopy shape is so wrong.
Why do you use a blueprint?
Blueprint is to increase the accuracy of the build, at least a bit.
Try using fuselage parts instead of spheres for the canopy since we have the 'smoothing' function.
And now you've found out that you were not the first one to use such a technique, why don't you edit the forum?
@UltraLight its ok
@brians1209 and bruh do you think i dont use blueprints????? i take SP very seriously, and i know i sized the slats right.
@FireFast212 sorry
@YourWife @bjac0 @UltraLight
geezz i am really sorry if i offended you guy's, i totally didnt know that i was not the first one to do that. but you guys couldve been a bit nicer anyways. thanks for notifying me
@brians1209 @JeskoGoesVROOM @KangaKangaTheRedNosedRoo

T
assuming your wing is flipped on the X axis, your wing now produces downforce
really looks like a crossover of Namchang Q-5 and F-4 Fantom lol
the control surface slats aren't that new of a thing, many people (myself included? idk anymore) have used it in the past
its still cool tho
Like what other users said below, we do not need to credit you, as this technique has been used countless of times and you weren't the one who invented it
well T, and I am not gonna talk about what the heck happened below
lol why would people give you credit for that.
The game is 5 years old, most of those simple techniques are already all known.
If you want better wings, go and learn how to make tapered wings.
There are far more advanced wings already made.
Also the area of the surface are of the slats are wrong, the surface area should be bigger. Use a blueprint to get the approximate size.
Lmao don’t ask for credit too
Yes I do this too
But I agree with @bjac0
