Few airlines are operating flights before New Year. Selena Wright is reporting live at Prosperity (Wright) International Airport.
Today, there are several airlines still operating flights before New Year's Eve midnight. AeroKrak now operates AK1028, with a J30-200, the country's last flight of the year. Its route is Jathiwa-Avalanche, with a stopover in Yeager. Its duration is 6:47pm and ends at 10:38pm, 1 hour possible before 2021 comes. Northeast Airlines also operates last flights NE399 and NE215 with routes of Yeager-Avalanche and Avalanche-Wright Town. They are operated by both Airbus A320s. They have a duration of 5pm-8pm and 7pm-10pm.
PIAMA (Prosperity International Airport Management Authority) stated that they will close the airport from 10pm-1pm, after their last takeoff and landing, to celebrate the new year.
The last takeoff of the year is Nicroian Air 9R4984 operated by a Boeing B757-300 (route Wright-Paleto) and the last landing is Erandian Air ED423 (San Fernando-Wright Town) operated by an Eciv 50, 1 hour before 2021. Airport operations resume 1pm, January 1, 2021.
