I have tagged some of my favorite mod makers, and hope that one is up to the task. Anyone else who stumbles upon this and likes a challenge is also welcome of course.
(Note: mod doesn't have to include all listed, I am simply looking toward the experts of the SP community to see if anyone can make a mod for any of the contents of this post)
*Update: I am more than happy to work with any mod maker up to the task, and can help with the logistics and planning/implementation, leaving only the physical modding to be done. I have developed a lot of knowledge regarding all of the types of propulsion systems listed below, the building of jet engines, and material science in aeronautics. I understand all the science behind it as well as understand how it works and functions. Therefore, I can help come up with ideas for how to either utilize the current content of the game and/or necessary additional content required to make these ideas come to life in the form of a mod. I hope to make it easiest for any mod maker up to the task to manifest any of these ideas in a mod. I am here to answer any and all questions and want to specify that I understand this as a whole is a huge task, but I believe that any of these additions would really better SP and am just trying to have a fun time and improve the communities options for propulsion*
New PROPULSION system requests:
I BELIEVE THE ADDITION OF THESE PROPULSION SYSTEMS WOULD TAKE THE GAME TO A WHOLE NEW LEVEL AND PERMIT THE CREATION OF CRAFTS BEYOND OUR IMAGINATION! It would also be SUPER awesome to mess with!!!!!

-direct impulse propulsion (like particle accelerators)

-anti-gravity engines
-inflatable and deflatable balloons (refer to hybrid airship tech like lockheed martins)

Ability to assign MATERIALS to fuselage request:
I propose a new category is added under fuselages that lets you choose the material. There should also be data displayed about the material and its effects. For example, density, mass, etc. It should be given enough data to indicate for example if a certain material would be able to hold up as a heat shield upon re-entry or really high speeds according to its melting point. I believe that adding this would change the ENTIRE game, and every craft created so far. This would bring a whole new real-world feeling to the game and allow players to accurately create designs that will work in the real world under real-life constraints and the effects of differentiating materials.
More CUSTOMIZABLE jet engines:
A jet engine designing portion of the game in which you can create your own jet engine (whether it be a turbojet, turbofan, etc) using a variety of different types of components of jet engines like compressors and turbines, nozzles, bypass ducts, shafts, diffuser sections, different combustion chambers and combustor's (heat, microwave, electric, laser, nuclear, etc), exhausts, and afterburners.

Thanks for tagging me, I’m honoured to be one of your favorite modders. Unfortunately I’m currently trying (and failing) to implement VR into Simpleplanes, while also working on an npc system in my cyberpunk map, still, this should be a fun project to work on if I have time, thanks for the idea!
@NexusGaming im not asking for all, those are just some ideas of different types, and a mod creator could choose one or two and make a mod and it would be amazing

@TriStar only the rocket engines are :/, and they have super low-efficient beta ion drives for space that don't work in the atmosphere

First off, I've downloaded almost all of your mods, and flown all of your crafts. You're my favorite mod maker and I personally think you're the best SP mod maker of all.
Being the legend you are, would it be possible to make just one of these: ramjet, scramjet, hybrid rocket+jet engine (like the SABRE)? I use your thrust-vectoring jet engine mod literally every day, and the man who created that masterpiece is more than up to the task.
