I'm building a very high quality c-202 but I've hit a road block that at the time this post was made has cost me 2weeks of time I could have used making the livery I instead have been trying to fix this problem I'm this close to just scraping the project and making somthing else some one please help me fix this I've posted my plane if you think you can fix the spin
Thx -ReplicaBuilder1090
@ReplicaBuilder1090 Great!
@asteroidbook345 your advice help so much I fixed it I had to do what you said and make it a little bigger and heavier
Fisiks
@asteroidbook345 didn't work even with the smallest I could make the elevators it still did the spin
@asteroidbook345 ok I'll try this
@ReplicaBuilder1090 Ah. I know that some planes when you pitch them will begin to spin. This happens on my F-5 and is solved by just not pitching all the way at low speeds. You can also make the elevators smaller to limit the pitch power.
@asteroidbook345 and no the c-202 is not a flying wing but an early ww2 Italian fighter which by its pilots and statistics was named one of the best early ww2 fighters
@asteroidbook345 1. It seems like that isn't the case
2. It seems that the spins aren't caused by the vertical stabilizer but a mix of roll and pitch which when spining fast enough do cause a flat spin
@ReplicaBuilder1090 Is it a flying wing with inadequate tail surface area
@asteroidbook345 I've tried to put it in front, aligned it with, and put it behind the center of lift and all of them still had the same problem
Is the center of mass in front of the center of lift
@asteroidbook345 and I've already tried that
@asteroidbook345 I haven't put any details ATM it's just a basic fuselage with wings in the correct sizes and shapes and places the only thing that may be considered a detail is the cockpit
Disable drag on all superficial details
