Two MOP Corp Cargo Carriers flew near two ATRVs as they began to land at the tundra wastes. The carriers landed and unloaded Shnippy Co APC and MOP Corp ground support units. The ATRV eventually caught up and began to land. When all of the escort was unloaded the carriers sped off, leaving a few crates of food and supplies for the research mission which were promptly loaded into the ATRV. They had made sure to destroy the ice base, so they would be free of danger, the escort was mostly for precaution. While the ATRV crew members began to unload and drill into the ice. All of a sudden, BOOM! One of the ground support tanks went flying into a nearby hill and the sound of screeching metal filled the air. A hellkeska flew past and got ready for another bombing run. It was in range of superinterceptors however, and they made short work of it. The convoy knew there would be more. Evacuation was the only option, but the carriers had left and the ATRV could not hold all of the tank pilots. They would have to either make it to friendly territory before being blown to hell or hold them off long enough. A stationary target would be even easier than a convoy though, and they knew their speed would be the only thing stopping them from being blown to bits. One of the tank pilots saw a squadron of hellkeska coming their way, and one had a cleaver. The cleaver would be enough to blow the entire convoy, not just a tank. The remaining air support tanks fired all of their SuperInterceptors. They took out all of the hellkeska squadron, it was a miracle. But they were not lucky enough. About 12 armed buggies began to drive towards to convoy and immediately began to fire. The APCs took out a few, but a few of them were simply kamikaze’d. The remaining buggies were destroyed by the ground support tank’s high caliber cannons from afar. By this time they were nearing the avalanche airport, and a few more buggies later they arrived. What they saw was a few bits of rubble marking where the runway used to be, the radar dish had toppled and the power plant was on fire. There was no escape. They heard the sound of another approaching squad of hellkeska.
