I GET THE POINT TO HAVE SOMETHING TO DECRATE WHEN IS A FESTIVAL, BUT WHY SPITTOONS?! IT MAKES NO SENCE! AND PEOPLE USING THEM AS A FOOD CONTAINER, OR A FRUIT PLATE.

my mom told me dat back then, 40-50 years ago, when China did not have toilets in their houses, people supposed to use it as a container for shits and pee. So... is not very suitable for food...
