For those who had been on Simplanes for a long time, veterans I guess, I want you guys to go to your first planes and just play with them and observe them for a little bit. Then, go to one of your recent planes and play and observe them for a bit. After that you may realize how much your style and skill has grown from before to now. Post a comment here after that. You have seen your evolution, but of course it is nit at an end. ??
Same @RocketLL
My first plane was a car, or a bunch of rockets mounted vertically, with detachable stages. It actually worked. My car also managed to break the land speed record, after 3 months playing around with it.
@Astron1 my first "plane" didn't even fly, but I could make it fly now, dang it! My first plane that flew was good, but I see what @RocketLL meant.
Yup, my first plane is basically trash now.
Could've sworn it flew better back then... =P
Well, to be honest, the difference between then and now is very, very, very large. Consider, I first got the game during 0.5 smtg(AKA before the game was ever released to the public), but only got it working when 0.9 released. Comparing builds from then to now is almost incomparable. And my first upload was something for the ground speed challenge(long, long broken). I had trouble making any aircraft back then. My first successful aircraft was a jet bomber(though my first built was one for the SAM challenge, a VTOL jet that I still have). I then built a massive jet which had the turning radius of your average fighter. No bombs, but who needs internal bombs when you have a massive 70m wingspan bomber, XD. Of course, it can't run on mobile devices. And now I'm making replica's of fictional, high performance fighter jets, with missiles, bombs and all, compared to a jet bomber which has more parts than any of those aircraft, and only 3 simple bombs.
I don't need to look. First I made a top heavy prop and now I'm manufacturing cars.
@Delphinus also found your first Fish plane, the Manta Birostris G was it not?
@Delphinus Spike Aerospace Delphinus? Whatever happened to it?
They sucked. They don't exist now. End of story.
