Hear me out, I’ve never flown an actual helicopter nor a plane, I’m just a helicopter enthusiast. Now, I think helicopter rotors need work due to the number one problem I’ve heard people complaining about how the helicopters turn. Now a helicopter can turn with the main rotor just as good as using yaw with the tail rotor, in the game, you use yaw to turn the helicopter which is correct yet not completely correct. This has to change, because when I’m flying my helicopters or someone else’s helicopter, it veers off and you need the yaw to snap back to your current heading, that shouldn’t be the problem, now I’m sure this conversation has gone on for a while and I don’t blame anyone. I hope some developers see this and come up with a plan to fix it. If you have any questions or agree with me on this, comment down below.
@UltraLight true lol
All my helicopters slightly veer one way so I have to reposition myself with the tail rotor. @AN2Felllla
@asteroidbook345 easy fix
maxRpm = 100000
lol but yes we need itThey need a rotor brake. Also I'm pretty sure that's not how helicopters work. I agree the tail rotor physics need work and that you can turn a heli like a plane, rolling and pitching up slightly, but turning with the tail rotor is correct. I'm just tired of them overspeeding when you land because there's no rotor brake.
For me when I yaw in a helicopter the fuselage turns but the helicopter continues in the same direction like irl. Not sure what's happening with you
