This is partially to show off the progress and stuff but also to show the difference between a normal SP blue and the color code I found for a more realistic blue used by the US Navy during the period from 1945-1950.
Color codes are fun

@GSXGAMlNG Yeah I know. It's why I don't usually use the same color codes. This is using insignia blue instead of sea blue because sea blue was too green.
you can't just copy colours into SP and expect them to work perfectly. usually they are understaturated, so you gotta make them more saturated manually. this is partially thanks to the half assed lighting in SP. you will really notice this once you're making fuselage art from a reference.
@PapaKernels Ok
@asteroidbook345 ok thanks, I may use it.

@Chancey21 Ooh cool
What's the code?
On macOS there is a default color picker tool for hex and RGB...
Its the best tool ever, I use it for every build
@FairFireFlight @LieutenantSOT Yep, the good old Martin Mercator. Looks a lot like a Mariner without the engines though
And this is looking awesome! I look forward to seeing how it comes out
@FairFireFlight no... I believe he is building the P4M Mercator
I literally didn't even notice the color code thing for 8 months and I watched a stream on discord and just noticed and asked him if it was a mod lmao...
PBY-4 Privateer?
