Hi, I am the proud owner of a brand new joystick (http://gaming.logitech.com/en-us/product/extreme-3d-pro-joystick), but I'm not sure which gestures should control which control surfaces! forward is nose down, back is nose up... but is twist rudder and left-right roll, or the other way around? Is there a convention for any of the other buttons? What do you use that thumbpad for?

@Acer500 no problem
@TheOwlAce Yeah, this is 500% better than flutter-keys or mouse controls. The motions are more natural and precise. I'm definitely liking the change so far! I'll try out this button mapping. Thanks for responding! :)
@Skua You know, it's weird... I thought the twist was easier than the left-right motion for the first while. Then it started to feel weird when used in combination with the forward-back pitch control, so I switched it. Thanks :)
Hmmm, You have the movements right. I have the Trigger as AC-1 and the side button as AC-2. The top two buttons besides the thumb stick I use for the throttle, and the ones below that I use for the landing gear and changing camera views. I would say give it a day and practice with it, youll be able to fly your planes a lot smoother (And mine too)
@TheOwlAce
I like left-right for roll, since it's easier and you use roll much more than yaw. But try both, see what you like best!
