Note: This patent was filed in 2019 by Textron Innovations Inc. The proposed aircraft is designed to meet the US Army’s requirements for the Future Attack Reconnaissance Aircraft (FARA). It will feature a 20mm gun, two-seat tandem cockpit, 40 foot (12 meter) main rotor diameter, and a cruising speed of 180 knots (210 MPH). Textron has stated that the aircraft is based on the Bell 525 Relentless.
