The Alpine Aircraft Challenge, what is it truly about?

So. I have seen some entries. Some are good, some are bad, and some just didn't get the point of the challenge.

Now, the majority of those are doing a good job! And I am really happy to see what the entries are looking like. However, for those who wish to understand the challenge better, here are some of my own examples of an Alpine craft.

The MP-1B is a bomber who faces no problems in taking off and landing at low speeds. The ramp is a luxury created for planes who simply need a long runway to land

Alt text

Here you can see it taking off from a random plain in the mountains of Avalanche

The MP-2F is my epitome of a Mountain Fighter. Strong gears, nimble, and able to land literally anywhere

Alt text

Which was the gist of the whole challenge!

Alt text

It doesn't have to be a super fighter, a high-speed bomber, or any fancy wunderwaffe

Alt text

It's an aircraft, who doesn't need airfields. No landing strips, no tarmac pavements, no fancy hangars

Alpine aircraft are planes you land anywhere. You see a slightly flat strip? Place your sucker there! Your airfield is cast between lots of bumpy plains? So what, your gears can take it!

The MP-1F is a bad example, as the gears are weak in this plane, but still, it does its job.

This is why you see me judging so harshly entries that are bad at landing/taking off from these terrains. It's hard to do that with these planes built for that, and if you operate from mountains, you can't afford a delicate sweet landing
