idea i had just now of being able to tune the lift per degree of aoa in a wing
^graph of all 4 airfoils in the game
some context, im currently trying to simulate the behaviors of the tomcat and im using a combination of all 4 airfoils (now some assistance from rcs thrusters for specific stuff), would be a lot easier to get the lift right in all the spots
some pcs llmoa
@Kevinairlines lmao its been a minute
Hey I just wanted to apologize for being a di** @BaconEggs
@RandomUser09 silence you tiny man
@BaconEggs one day I will steal your egg and bacon.
@BaconEggs awesome man!
@ChrisPy as it is right now its pretty close to where i want it, most of the things i need to get in are the very specific behaviors (wing wagging, flat spins, roll reversal, engine stalls etc)
i think the most amount of time ill spend on it is actually not building it since i have phases of interest in sp then go on month long breaks doing other stuff
realistically id say by end of the year ill finish, or likely this fall since ill be out of school for good in about a week
love the tomcat. hope its done sometime soon but it sounds like you are taking on quite a task.
@BaconAircraft very astute
assume a spherical tomcat in a vacuum.
boom, no further empirical derivations for lift needed when there is no lift )))
@zAerospace just type it in with ol
how do you get the nacaprop airfoil, or is that just for comparison?
@DeezDucks thats the aim of the cardboard series of jets is to actually get finished
Ehh
Please, please let this be the one good Tomcat made out of the 6 good ones that actually gets finished... please.
i'd love to see the graph extended to 90 degrees
@AWESOMENESS360 lol it's a joke I've done the same thing like 6 times
@asteroidbook345 cut them some slack, they’re doing their best.
Oh wow an F-14 that will never be uploaded
