The Opal Apprentice is meant to be a lightweight turboprop trainer for civilian use and my entry for the turboprop trainer challenge. It's only 89 parts so far because I haven't added any detail yet, I am planning on adding a full cockpit and custom landing gear later. However it still flies really well, and the turquoise and white paint scheme is pretty cool. Sets a couple of firsts; first aircraft with the new Opal logo, first aircraft of mine with custom control surfaces, and hopefully will become first with a full cockpit. As for other builds, I am sitting on a few projects that I will finish over the summer, so hopefully there will be more new stuff soon.
