General360 Interview! Exclusive to sp enquirer!

At 6,428 points General360 is definitly a contender on SP. He specialises in Scale looking and flying aircraft. With 29 followers he has quite a fan base. But there is more to him than his unmatched building skills and aircraft. I got the privilage to interview the man himself.

RBEEDUDE1: General360. Hows it going.
GENERAL360: It's going good just walking home from A&P School

RBEEDUDE1: Cool mate. How long have you been going there?
GENERAL: I started last August and will finish this April so about 1 year and 3 months

RBEEDUDE1: So you're planning to work on aircraft when you've finished?
GENERAL: Yes I plan to work at the Orlando Executive Airport and later in life work on Warbirds from past wars.

RBEEDUDE1: Speaking of war-birds, You seem to specialize in building scale war-birds on SP, Are you a fan?
GENERAL: Yes I'm a plane lover ever since I was a little kid, I like Warbirds from the Wright Flyer to The Biplanes of WWI and the time of WWII, Korea, and Vietnam. Also I love the blueprint and experimental planes of many differnet countries. Germany is the one I truly love with the innovative planes that we actually used ideas from today.
RBEEDUDE1: And SP is a great way to try out some similar designs yourself. So did SP introduce you to Working on aircraft as a career or vice-versa?
GENERAL: It was wanting to be a Mechanic as a career before I found SP but I did play the apps made before SP was even thought of such as Bridge Basher and Dummy Defense

RBEEDUDE1: Are you hoping to work on aircraft design in the future?
GENERAL: Possibly when I'm experienced enough to build something like a Warbird but homebuilt. But for right now I'm focused on getting my A&P license and work on small General Aviation aircraft like a Cessna 152, 172, and 210 size.

RBEEDUDE1: Aeronautical or bodywork?
GENERAL:In General Aviation they put you as both considering what is damaged or needs to be repaired on the plane. So to sum it up Airframe is the skin or something to the structure is damaged and Powerplant if there's anything damaged with the engines.

RBEEDUDE1:A lot of talk about the next SP update is around now. Are you looking forward to it?
GENERAL: Yes I definitely am and with the weapons being confirmed, Warbirds will be popping up all over the website. I know it'll be a great time for SP. The only thing that will be better is the update after that.

RBEEDUDE1:Your're gold, That's a pretty big achievement. Whats been you're main contributor to you'r points? Have the forums helped out?
GENERAL: Yes gold was a super achievement and the main contributor to my points are the fellow users seeing my builds and always getting them to first page of hottest. The forums have also helped with boosting my followers from about 10 to almost 30 now. I love making planes that are uncommon to people cause each real plane I make is to honor the people who flew those planes.

RBEEDUDE1: You're planes look and fly really scale. Not an easy thing to do!
GENERAL: Yes I strive to make them as realistic as I can without any help from modding the game. I know most top users and planes have mods but I like to make my builds shine by making them look and work just like the real thing with limited parts and abilites.

RBEEDUDE1: Do you have any advice for anyone wanting to start out in getting an A&P license or SimplePlanes?
GENERAL: For both of them I wanna say, Aviation is a small world and everyone knows each other. It's full of regulations and many boring things but they're there for the safety of everyone. Without both the FAA and the Mods/Devs we wouldn't have the wonderful planes we have today. The world runs much more smoothly when you have Airplanes to get you from one place to somewhere far away without safety rules, the trusty mechanics, and the incredibly smart engineers. One last thing, for aspiring A&P Mechanics follow the manual and love your work, for SP users build to your hearts desire and set goals for you to get to.

RBEEDUDE1: G-360. Thank you for your time. Take it easy.

GENERAL: No problem good sir. I do have a sneak peak for everyone. It's my new plane I'll be uploading soon. It'll be exclusive to your newspaper.
