I've always wandered how much you need to modify your plane to make it cobra capable
Forget about thrust vectoring and canards these are just cheats to make cobra lol but I'm talking about the aerodynamics of the plane maybe the center of mass and lift
What does a plane need to perform a post stall maneuver?

@Random04 You can actually make it a bit on yaw and pitch like J-10.
@GuyFolk thank you :D
@weeeeeeeeeeeeeeee
No, for beginner.
Yes if you know what are you doing.
@GuyFolk should i put the CoL in front of the CoM?
@Random04
Best of luck to you.
@GuyFolk the cobra god answered.. Thanks but sadly tho thrust vectoring won't fit on the plane I'm making so maybe in another one
Thanks for the worthy information :)
Short answer, CoM position is near or same as CoL so it'll not flip or stabilize itself which is good for PSM. (But terrible for normal flight.)
For Cobra without thrust vectoring is tricky (I've made the plane with this capability), you have to make it unstable enough to go Cobra but stable enough to not flip backward, pilot skill contribute for a big part too.
@MOPCKOEDNISHE I'm on android :/
Your plane needs SimpleWings
Just ask @GuyFolk
Unstable, CoM touching the CoL
@AeroAeroTheMen Precisely
-Increase weight
-move center of mass to the same spot as the center of lift
-make good use of gyroscopes (a good one can be found Here)
make the plane unstable, center of mass next to or behind center of lift
