I noticed that workshop on steam isn't operational (Yet) so, I downloaded some content off the SimplePlanes Website, then I tried to put in to the folder, and it would not allow me. Anyone know what do do?

Click the "download planes" button in the game, on the same screen as the "build and fly" part. It'll open the Steam in-game browser, and you can download from there
