Combat report by the Aurora Squadron, 51st Combat Wing, TFMGAC on event of June 23, 2020 at 13:20 hours

Summary
- On the afternoon of date above, Wright Airbase was attacked by a squadron of F-35A stealth fighters, along with what appeared to be an X-02 Wyvern of advanced model. Patrol drones had been shot down and several defensive SAM sites were destroyed by anti radiation missiles fired by the enemy F-35 aircraft.

-Aurora Squadron was scrambled after Central Command immediately realized the intensity and danger of the surprise assault. Major Jason Earl Van Dyke, callsign "Dodger", squadron callsign "Aurora 5" led the defense against the stealth attack.

-All friendly aircraft engaged the F-35 bandits with relative ease as they possessed lesser maneuverability than the friendly F-22A Raptors. Most were missile kills and two of which are gun kills.

-As soon as the F-35 attackers have dwindled in numbers, the X-02 fighter jet dove down from what we believed to be it's observation orbiting path, and directly engaged the defenders. Aurora 8 and 3 have been badly damaged by the enemy Wyvern's fire.

-Aurora 5 intercepted the Wyvern and engaged it to cover 8 and 3's landing. Both damaged friendly aircraft miraculously made it back to the runway. 5 then proceeded to tell remaining aircraft to stand down as he had strongly believed that the Wyvern pilot was a seasoned ace.

-Friendly fighters followed 5's calls and went on to patrol the islands as he engaged the X-02. Bandit identified himself with the callsign of "Prizma" after comms team managed to bypass frequency encryption the enemy attack force had. Bandit Pilot gave no further information after.

-New patrol drones were airborne as Aurora 5 engaged callsign "Prizma" in a stomach churning turn fight over the islands. Following photos of the engagement were taken by a new patrol drone at altitude of 8500 feet..

Aurora 5 attempts to align fuselages with Prizma to fire gun in lead as the distance between the fighters was too close, leaving him unable to fire missiles due to the minimum range being below required

End Result

Major Jason Van Dyke managed to shoot enemy X-02 Wyvern down after nearly 13 minutes of dogfighting over the islands. Bandit pilot ejected out of heavily damaged aircraft and was quickly captured by the Tactical Forces Navy after landing in water. He is currently being held in the TFAF detention facility over at Charlie Island. Wyvern fighter aircraft remains have been salvaged and are being studied by the TFAF R&D department for possible 6-7th generation fighter program. Maj. Van Dyke has been commended for a Distinguished Flying Cross for yet again his daring, perilous, but victorious flight against a highly dangerous adversary.
