Firstly, hi. I've been playing SP for a while, but got especially into it after the recent update. I've always been a sucker for games based around designing authentic (in a very broad sense) vehicles, and then killing stuff with em. It might not be Garry's Mod ACF, but I'm nonetheless excited to see where this game will go.

Moreover, I have a question about using the designer. Looking at various creations available for download, it seems like there's a means by which one can rotate and scale fuselage pieces in very fine increments, in order to create intricate details such as bracers, decals, airfoil curves, and even instrument panels. Furthermore, it seems to be possible to scale propeller blades beyond the current maximum, in order to create helicopter rotors. Is this done by modifying files externally, or is it done within the designer itself? If it's the latter, is there a mod required for it?

@Sofa no problem. It would be really nice, but unfortunately it's not there for now. We'll just have to work with what we've got. It gets pretty easy once you're used to it, though - with the exception of rotations, those always suck haha
@Skua Thank you for the response. Although I was already aware of the nudge controls (which were a lot of help in other departments after I'd discovered them), I suspected .xml files were involved with more advanced builds.
.
Although I'm sure that works fine for most folks, I think some means of making those kinds of adjustments in the in-game designer would be a welcome feature. Then again, I don't know what lies within the devs' scope of capability.
If you're on PC, the nudge controls are what you're looking for. These are operated by the number pad. Beyond that (and this one works on Android too), most of the seemingly impossible designs you see are done with XML editing. Every plane is saved as a human-readable XML file (C:\Users[you]\AppData\LocalLow\Jundroo\SimplePlanes\AircraftDesigns for PC), and you can tweak everything as finely as you want in there
