Flight 73 was a Qantas Boeing 737 carrying 176 passengers from Jakarta to Perth, during landing a monster lightning strike hit the engine which caused it to catch on fire, however instead of immediately stalling the plane started facing up, after a couple seconds, the plane was a stricken wreck on the side of the runway. All 176 lives were lost. 2 days later, a investigation team is called up to find out why lighting, something planes are designed to not crash caused 176 lives to fall to their doom, 4 days into the investigation, the lead investigator made a horrifying discovery, the answer: carbon fiber, when carbon fiber is struck by lightning, it lights on fire, the investigation called for the removal of all carbon fiber from aircraft
