@BryanO5
Thanks for the idea, but unfortunately the 'Dr' means 'Dreidecker', which means 'Triplane'. (ex. Fokker Dr.1)
the 'D' would be 'Doppledecker', which means 'Biplane' (ex. Fokker D.VII)
Another problem is there are a lot of existing names of Fokker. D- some number, which the Fokker D.VIII was the last of WWI, and continued after.
So I guess we'll have to go for German nicknames instead of numbers.
@brians1209
Okay ! Yes, that's for sure, it's big caliber, not a "small" 7.7 or 7.92mm machine gun.
Indeed, that should shot down quite quickly a WWI plane.
@CharlesDeGaulle
It should be lol, it's not a machine gun, it's a 20mm Becker cannon, the only 20mm cannon to be used in the German air service in WW1, originally used as anti-aircraft guns or bomber turrets.
They were rarely used on fighter aircraft, for example, the Albatros D.II.
Probably used for bomber hunting and stuff, since you only need just a single or few 20mm rounds to down a WW1 aircraft

It's 9002, and it's not just a simple number, converting roman numerals to alphabets, you can find a hidden meaning
T
@brians1209 ok, but what number is it ?
@brians1209 IXII is not a valid numeral, you're gonna have to find another designation
it's the
Mother Fokker

@BryanO5 roman numerals.
It’s beautiful looking, T!
@brians1209 just a question, what is ixii ?
@BryanO5 I think I'll name it as D.IXII.

Looks amazing!
@scratch Thanks! It's based on the Fokker D.VII's airfoil.
Those are some really cool airfoils!

Nice !
But the machine gun seems a bit oversized to me.
