While I believe that any form of unconsented distribution of intellectual properties, or plagiarism as a single word, is anything but a moral choice nor do I approve and condone to carry out such actions. I do find it flattering that a person would pirate my work and advertise it as their own, hell even sell it as their own for such dubiously high prices I couldn't even imagine, as I've assumed that any form of plagiarism of my work means that its actually good enough to be pirated or plagiarise. Though I still resent the action itself, selling or publishing things that is not of their own labour.
Giorgio's 'work' of Saunders Roe SA45 (I've tried to visit at a later time but apparently its gone now)
The Saunders Roe SA45 I have worked on (Its in this link)
Now in light of this Giorgio person, I have considered the possibility of selling my own planes outside Simpleplanes before a free version was to be published here in this site, but what are the legal ramifications of such actions? Because as much as I want to publish free vehicles for Simpleplanes, times have been a bit hard and any form of licit income is welcome. Now all I need is a Yes, No, and Perhaps answers with a citation from legal stuff from simpleplanes explaining why, and use my judgement from then on out.
This subject might be controversial from the time of writing, and I implore all of you to be civil in the comments, please.
Oh wait
Wait they sell stuff in simple plane or i just dont know
Can you make hawker Siddeley Trident with 1974 British airways livery?
They say imitation is the most sincere form of flattery.
I don’t get why someone would pay that kinda money and to what use would it be?
Hey. A bit off topic but because your actually good at what you do, could you make an IL-76TD?
Don't sell planes because its againts the TOS
People only care about money
i posted same thought 2 days ago xd
@BerdBuild
Good
I tried to find his products but it’s gone, i think he got terminated
He stole about 90% of the things he sells. They are exact replicas of what people on so have made, he just downloads them and puts them up for sale on the site claiming they are his @BerdBuild
It's illegal to sell planes made on this site and uploaded. All 3D assets created in SP are property of Jundroo.
@KnightOfRen @SodiumIodide Time for a 2nd website lol i guess. I mean with a bit if html css js you could make that thing quite easily
It'd be nice to have paid planes(or mods) too, just not too much. Kinda like the dcs website
I totally agree but it might be not stolen since this guy doesnt look like he stole it
Also, Giorgio? Like Giovanni Giorgio?
@AN2Felllla
Yeah, YouTube
As cool of an idea as this is, sadly its against the site's Terms of Service, which you agree to when you create your account.
It'd be nice if the devs could offer us some form of earning money from this game ngl
Against terms…
+ you can be issued a copyright warning / be fined for it or something
But you might as well work on DCS or MFS models and sell them, they go for 100+ each and they can sell like bonkers
@Augusta he was exposed and he changed his name
In fact his cringe name is changed to "Planes" instead of "Giorgio"
