I've got a feeling that, despite this currently having over 3000 parts, it's still several months off. On this base model, tye dashboard and gauge cluster aren't complete, and want to make several different variations of it. I might also wait for tye next update incase the devs add ball joints, so the suspension can work better. Anyways have these for now.
PS pretty much everything is functional on this, including opening doors and windows, working wipers, fully detailed suspension and interior, and even automatic transmission logic with an actual torque curve, and part time 4WD with low range. The engine even makes the right noise as if it's going through the gears! (Tye engine that drives the wheels is separate to the one that makes the noise)
Anyways I just wanted to share these pics. :)
Your telling me that the pic is from sp nah it looks real
bet ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°) ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°) ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)
@WormWithLegs Funky trees ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°) ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°) ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)
Umm, correct me if I'm wrong, but as far as I'm concerned there's not really a way to make realistic torque curves in SP
I thought that this was automation for a second
@AN2Felllla thx
@TheGliderGuy Yup @AN2Felllla#5088
@AN2Felllla bro Do you have discort?
@EnzoDiazUnofficial I was thinking about it, and I think the Takahe is more of a sports crossover SUV and isn't really oriented at off-road, for example it's more of a streamlined shape and has a monocoque chassis. But this Weka has stuff that may drive away regular buyers to attract off road enthusiasts, like 3 link suspension and a tailgate mounted spare tyre for a long range fuel tank. I'd say if anything the Takahe's predecessor from the same era as this would be like a cross-over wagon, which ceased production, but was revived many years later as the Takahe I uploaded, but the Weka would have kept production and stayed as a body-on-frame offroad SUV up until modern day.
@EnzoDiazUnofficial Internally it resembles more a Toyota Landcruiser or a Nissan Patrol.
Will it have some kind of wheel slipping feature?
@BlunderBirb Yup
Very realistic
Those custom rims look great. Do they rotate properly though?
cer
When I am in pain and dying @FishMiner
At what point will you stop, step back, and think to yourself "hey James, maybe this level of detail is a bit excessive"?
My dude your tires are looking a little flat in the last one lol
Dang 3000? ..Hope u can make a low part version as well just the engine and chassis suspension for testing..for the longest time im stuck on engine FT's variable speed especialy crawl mode on my project update it got some kind of torque but it intruduces some bugs...interested on how you achieved this automatic transmission with torque curve.
..hope the developers add someday
•a better sounding car engine( idle, accelerate, decelerate)
•Rodball ends part (heim joints) for multilink/ 4 link
•differential part and ability to lock (front,rear center)
---if not above ability to change engine input on each wheel
•handbrake (lock front only or lock a specific wheel) or park for slopes
•fix strange wheel collision like on those runway edges
•a simple map for crawling , topspeed test, dirt track, monster jam ramps, stadium truck circuit
You might hate me for this but...
sus pension
I am melting at how amazing this looks...
probably my computer too
A transmission with a torque curve? Me like! Best of luck completing this beauty.
Satisfying suspension
simpleplanes cut out hollow fuselages update :flushed:
Thats really cool 90s style suv
