I'm working on an autogyro with a pre-rotator, but as it is a light aircraft, and as the rotor pre-rotates the gyro starts to roll backwards, even when the brakes applied. Is there a way to stop the wheels from rolling which the rotor is spinning up?
As it stands now the distance I get pushed back defeats the runway distance I save by using a pre-rotator.
Just increase traction and brake force
@FabioGalvao5679 Thanks for trying to help.
@edensk Perfect! Not only does that work, but the ability to alter the pitch was already built in, so I didn't have to change anything to get it to work. Thanks.
@atgxtg strange, try to ask experienced players for help, they should explain it better to you, because I don't know why that happens.
@FabioGalvao5679 Thanks for the reply, but the aircraft doesn't use a car engine. In fact the car engine weights more than the (empty) gyro.
You can't change the input for the brakes, but you could set the rotor pitch to neutral instead
if your construction is using a car engine, you just remove the connection between the wheel and the engine, but that's simple, just go to the wheel settings and then go to the
engine
option and deselect the engine where the wheel is on.but I hope this helps you, if it continues like this just mark me here and I'll be right back to help you <3
