Welcome to the 4th generation of tier IV
I kindly welcome you for your visit!
Tier IV is a small collection of replicas and interpretations of original modern designs from SP tank builders!
The main reason why is for PVE and maybe PVP in the future, hence the damage model aswell as the part count being limited to 100.
This is also to bring some light to some obscure tank builds too, aswell as unpopular builders you may not even heard of.
About tank additions, suggestions and other stuff
Do you have any suggestions for tank & vehicle designs? mention it here! Remember you can also recommend your own designs too.
If somehow your design made it here it means that I like it very much! But if you wanted it removed I would be more than willing to comply.
What happens if a tank gets added here?
Well, it would need to be rebuilt from scratch because of the scale, part count and damage model for PVE.
If the tank is made by someone with lesser experience in building tanks I might make some adjustments with the design, mostly proportion wise, haha.
What can you do here?
Browse along the collection of original designs by SP's tank builders and maybe find a design you find interesting, you are free to download too! In fact I recommend you to download all tanks here too.
Not only that hehe, with the 4th generation you could now do a lil' bit of PVE with the new bot tanks. (thank you winterro), have some fun if you may will!
4th generation changes
(Skip if you're here only for the tanks)
Lots of things have changed, but for users that visited Tier IV before would immediately notice that the entire post got reworked.
Screenshots of tank designs got changed, took alot of time too.
New descriptions
For the tanks itself, alot got reworked, but most noticably are the addition of better details, some tanks recieved more changes than others.
Reworked details for older designs
Major changes to driving performance
Slight suspension changes to some tanks
Some tanks will have different gun handling
I did not really tweak the damage models of older designs since despite being old it still works as good as the newer ones.
Tank & vehicle classes
These are roles and doctrines the tank is designed around.
Strategic This tank is designed to be mobile enough to quickly take strategic positions and strike when least expected.
Range This tank is designed to take out targets from afar, often has worse reaction time.
Urban This tank is designed/modified to support infantry in urban environments, and might not be effective in long range engagements, sometimes has better side protection.
Balanced This tank is not designed specifically for a certain role and is very versatile, it could effectively take any role listed above with no problems whatsoever.
Support This class mostly consists of IFVs, SPGs, and others.
Wheeled Uses wheels for faster speed and greater range on paved road, but is mostly inferior in terms of survivability and firepower.
Outdated Is designed for outdated doctrines and strategies, is not effective against superior targets, but can work in the right hands.

Hello there! If you found a design that you really like here, consider visiting the original designer through extra links and show them support!
Even a simple upvote would mean alot for them! They put alot of effort into their amazing designs and it would be nice if we were to appreciate it more.
PVE stuff
Enemy tanks & fortifications using Winterro's technique of forcing bots to use their cannons, finally the damage model isn't useless anymore, hehe.
Enemy tank Link
Outdated tank used by a poor country, cannot penetrate 70% of all tanks here frontally, never underestimate, haha, could still oneshot you if you show a bit of your side.
Enemy tank (hard) Link
Definitely more powerful than the first one, but still has the same range, this one is now equipped with a more modern and up to date gun, spawn two for 80% fatality rate.
IRL tanks
Tanks that exist in the real world.
Leopard 2a6 Link
I'm telling you, 70% of mbt designs by SP users is in one way or another definitely inspired by this tank.
(Strategic class)
M1 SepV2 Link
(Balanced class)
Can you hear that? Yes, that's the sound of freedom right, not only is the m1 very versatile but also the only tank with more than 100 parts. (also it received a huge buff)
Designs from p0tato72
2a3(u) Caracal LECC (No links available)
(Balanced class)
A foreign variant of Novania's Caracal 2a3, with superior firepower and protection, it's a force to be reckoned with!
2a4 Caracal Forum link
(Balanced class)
Interestingly, this tank is special to me as it was what got me motivated to start building tanks in SP, at that time I barely even know how to make tanks.
Support this talented builder! p0tato72
Design from lordpain
TPT 105/84 Link
(Strategic class)
TPT stands for "The polish tank", just an interesting fact. This tank is very mobile and designed for maneuver tactics, it has good operational range and can be easily transported.
- Support the original designer. The polish tank
Design from VolcanicAsh
M-45 Bor Link
(Balanced class)
As wide as it is, this mbt boasts impressive turret protection aswell as one of the best guns in Tier IV, but it is quite lacking on other aspects.
Couldn't find links sadly.
Design from Astro12
(Balanced class)
Mbt 23 Link
Fun to crew and fight around in, can be really effective in the right hands, not really the best in terms of survivability & firepower but I'd reckon it would bounce a few rounds if lucky.
Support link! Astro12's Profile
Design from WingsOfSteel
Kpfw voll 2 Link
(Range class)
What? This tank isn't designed by a furry! But anyways this tank is designed by a furry and is really good at long range.
Kindly support my fellow kind :3 WingsOfSteel'sProfile
Design from BlinIndustry
Spg T-105 Link
(Support class)
Massive cannon reminiscent of the FV-4005, tanks aren't really its intended target but it has the same fire control system as mbts, aswell as horizontal & vertical stabilizers as a requirement of its doctrine.
Support link, help him reach gold! BlinIndustry
Design from SyntheticL
Vehicle Armouret d'Enginèreux Encoumbate, Modèle/1972, Improuvement 2 Link
(Urban class)
Combat engineering vehicle? Yes sir, not really is it effective against tanks but I doubt it would be completely useless, a calliber that large should invoke fear to those who dare oppose it.
Support link, his design is very interesting! SyntheticL
Design from Dragorans
Scaft Guepard (Coming soon)
(Balanced class)
Boxy and large, it looks quite different compared to similar mbts, despite the rather old-ish appearance it is well far from being outdated.
Design from Saturnbuildsstuff
W-Mbt L/44 Link
(Balanced class)
Interestingly, this tank has the same gun as Leopard 2a6, which is easily one of the best in its tier, additionally in terms of logistics this tank is much more cheaper and easier to transport than the 2a6, but it has some flaws.
Support link! He's a good replica builder if you're interested. Saturnbuildsstuff's
Fictional designs
125G Tm2 Link
(Outdated class)
Old theiponese mbt still in service, definitely has some soviet blood in its design, maybe could work in the right hands? But definitely will get destroyed 70% of the time against superior threats.
M(93) Ziglat mbt Links
(Balanced class)
The small nation no foreign powers could invade, Isens Fondland, and this is their newest mbt, low silhouette and impressive survivability, but trust me you would not want to be inside this once it catches on fire.
Great lion of the desert (Coming soon)
(Range class)
Sobruang astige, that's Kapshlic for "very awesome", and rightfully so, in the vast open desert of yuksalvo it requires a very well designed mbt to be able to operate here in extreme heat.
Third series mobile tank (Coming soon)
(Strategic class)
Theiponese mbt specifically designed for Theipon's hilly terrain, it is more of a light tank than an mbt really.
Welcome to Tier II
Welcome to the WW2 era! Designs from interwar to latewar, here's a much more forgiving environment, tanks tend to take more hits before getting destroyed which is perfect for those still learning the controls.
Also unlike in Tier IV, the Ovk chance of tanks here are much lower.
Tank & vehicle types
Light tanks Lighter and cheaper than conventional tanks, but often mounted with inferior armaments and lackluster protection.
Tank destroyers Mostly well armed with powerful armaments and frontal protection, but some are lightly armoured open topped vehicles.
Heavy tanks Well armed & protected, these beasts are tough to deal with, aside from having terrible reliability.
Medium tanks Jack of all trades master of none, this tank is reliable and could deal with threats.
PVE Stuff
Enemy 7.5cm (Coming soon)
Enemy anti tank gun, hard to hit because of its small size, it's especially hard to deal with when you're using a medium or light tank, but hey don't worry, just one direct hit is all it needs to be completely obliterated.
Also unlike the enemy tanks in Tier IV you can spawn these in sloped terrain as long as it isn't too much above of below you.
IRL Tanks
T-34 (Coming soon)
(Medium tank)
Legendary T-34, it's not as bad as some may believe haha, definitely helped the red army win against axis forces.
M4a3 Sherman small hatch & large hatch (Coming soon)
(Medium tank)
This one is also not as bad as some may believe it to be, heh, it has a faster reload and slightly more penetration than that of the T-34.
KV-1 (1941) (Coming soon)
(Heavy tank)
Pinnacle of Russian heavies, this one used to scare the crap out of early German tanks, very good when angled I might add.
KV-1C (Coming soon)
(Heavy tank)
The KV-1 is already very well protected, but of course it needed more armour, so now it has 100mm on the upper plate and turret sides, yikes man.
@Nofferston Hey, When will you make more PVE Stuff! I'm hoping we can get more of a variety, Like maybe a tank that can actually move?
Even though the damage is fuel based. I have a better idea. Maybe you can model some human sized fuel tanks and conveniently place them where an actual human can be. So that when a shell hits them, They set on fire, Or in this case bleeding out then make the cannon stop working when a specific fuel tank is depleted.
Anyway, I have no knowledge about simpleplanes building. So if this is not possible, I completely understand, I just wish we can have more variety to our enemies for mobile players.
Edit: Better idea, Just put the fuel tank below the hull, Why the fuck would anyone shoot there?
Request: please make BMP-3
Uh
Oh Wow this is epic
If you guys want a fast plane that's destructive search fast and destructive
i'm sorry for being so annoying a while ago
Sorry
Hi, can I use one of your cannon stabilizers?
Will it be two tanks, one for a challenge and the other for... nothing?
And I don't know how to make stabilizers, at least the horizontal one
Thanks
EDIT: i did a bit of reverse engineering on the stabilizers and found i didn't even need FT so i guess this is it, and my tank project can continue... hehe
Oh, you remodeled my tank... It looks interesting. I also have a new tank coming soon, I think you might find it interesting.
Prototype version of the APC is shown just to give an idea of what the suspension looked like
@Nofferston
A few days ago, I made a side-view image of a fictional APC of mine. Image in the link
Edit: Vehicle Stats in a different website
@Nofferston thx man
@Rednoggin555 Sure.
https://www.simpleplanes.com/a/7OmSSU/Zazeed-154-SPH Is it okay if you remake this cause it’s a lil bit trashy
Would’ve been cursed if they were an ah-64 or a mi-24
@Nofferston lol
@DragoransEscarti It's also really good at shooting down helicopters too mind you!
@Nofferston Everybody gangsta until the AI tank shoots down a plane
It's serious, I'm testing a drone and the tank destroyed my drone!
@Nofferston
How about seconds?
@DragoransEscarti Yeah, usually people respond in like 30-2 hours average.
@Nofferston
Are you sure?
only 5 minutes!!!!!1!1!!1!!!!!
@DragoransEscarti I wasn't expecting you to respond that fast, wow!
@Nofferston
Y
A
Y
The fastest answer in Brazil!
@DragoransEscarti Actually, I've already fixed that prob around a few weeks ago, I bet you'd like how realistic it is now!
There's one thing I noticed about enemy tanks that bothers me:
The shot is too accurate, and that makes long-range combat not balanced, as the enemy can see you, but you can't.
It also makes fast tanks useless, as they try to miss being hit to survive. But if the enemy tank absolutely hits every shot, no matter the distance, how will the tank survive?
To fix this I suggest making the gun shake, but I think that would make the gun too imprecise. Maybe some FT code that doesn't put the crosshair directly on top of the tank, but the same problem happens
This would affect the turtle population, soo...
Why not use the hull of a KV-1 for an MBT?
Seriously though, I've never really noticed how much Guepard's hull looks like the centurion's from the front...
