So I am making an aircraft with a fold-out missile bay that is going to fire custom missiles. Anyway I need the missiles to be launched out the front before they activate and fire. My thoughts on a solution was to use a pylon with increased detach force and then use ignition delay for the missile. However, this system doesn't seem to work with custom missiles. If anyone knows how to accomplish this, that would be fantastic!
@Gluck would you know how to set it up? Because that sounds like a good idea, just I'm not sure how to get it to work. Alternatively I might alter the missile bay design so that they drop out instead of launch out.
@GeneralHammond lol sorry I haven't responded, yeah it's kind of an annoying input conflict. I'd advise checking out some other builds to see what they've done. Alternatively you could opt for my dumb idea of adding an extra invisible engine inside the missile, which would exert a quick forward propulsion during the main missile's ignition delay, giving the impression of a ballistic launch? Activation might be weird to set up and it might go into the realm of funky trees, but it'd (probably?) work.
@Gluck Any ideas or are you as stuck as I am lol?
@Gluck Thanks!
@GeneralHammond I'll check it out when I get home
@Gluck Here's a link to my current test rig

@Gluck missile propelled
Wait so are the missiles missile-propelled or engine propelled
