Here's a quick sneak peek of my current project, the Grumman F-14D Super Tomcat, completely remade from scratch. (My previous F-14 was an A-variant but you get the point.)
For loadouts, there will be combinations of AIM-9 Sidewinders, AIM-7 Sparrows, and the AIM-54 Phoenix, which I also remade since the old version's dimensions were estimated (And way off, apparently).
New AIM-54 on left, old on right.
For attacking ground targets, I plan on adding plenty of unguided bombs, the GBU-31 JDAM, and the GBU-24 Paveway (And the LANTIRN targeting pod for the GBU-24).
In other news, I got a new monitor, so if you're wondering what SimplePlanes looks like in 32:9...
Although, for the most part, I still play SimplePlanes in 16:9.
@TheVexedVortex Its a bit excessive for actually playing SP, but its useful for having reference images off to one side while building in windowed mode
@AWESOMENESS360 I can't really argue with Wikipedia's dimensions :v
Ngl the old AIM-54 looks better
But that’s a pretty wide monitor...
Lol, when you have to turn your head just to set trim.
@rexzion moo
