You heard that right, flat earth CONFIRMED
How? Well simply get MOPCKOEDNISHE's Mouse Aim mod, attach it to your plane, enable it, and crash. Soon your camera will be flown far away at such high speed, and if you're lucky, you'll be close enough to the ground that you can see the edge of the earth! Take that Icosphere earther!
My theory is that, the draw distance depends on the location of the cockpit/camera. In this case, the cockpit is somewhere near the mountains of Krakabloa, and for some reason, this mod doesn't count as a camera, meaning that it thinks the camera (what you're actually seeing) is somewhere near Krakabloa, so to save on performance, it doesn't render anything beyond that area. While in reality, the camera is far away from it, leading to this oddity.
@JeskoGoesVROOM same
Yeah I've been there once, how you may ask, I don't remember
this happened to me once, i was just vibing with a hypersonic craft and even though no strange bugs occurred this phenomenon still happened. since my craft was still intact i decided to check it out, and it turns out that the unrendered water still has the water physics and whatnot.

Is there something you aren’t telling us?
Hey so why does the sun disappear below the horizon for the SP earth is flat?
.
(A 2nd same type of comment)
@Ryn176 Cool!!!!!! That's what I thought!
:)
@Strucker Yes, SP is a (plane + sphere) world.
So I guess Dev thinks irl that earth is flat
@Strucker and he proved it.
@Strucker yeah i guess
So, the SimplePlanes earth is flat?
