From here on out, up to and after the release of the VR version of the game, dawns a new era
What used to be difficult, panelling, cockpits, and XML alike, are now all rudimentary. Everyone will now be able to do it, and easily at that. Super pro builders like BogdanX will still reign, but it will be easy to reach a similar quality. New cockpit parts, and part reduction on panelling will cause builds to have lower part counts will better looks.
This will all GREATLY increase the standards of what a "pro" builder is. We now have that when it comes to competition and making things look "nice." Things are ever changing
Furthermore, something I think needs to be discussed: VR players
They won't be able to build planes, they have to use the ones we make. This means that we literally are what are going to keep this game afloat. We need to make great builds, and furthermore, good flight models. Realism from hereonout is key, and if anything, we need to up all of our games. We've waited for this update, and here it is now. Let's kick some 3D designer software butt
You're very right.
@Vincent true, true
.
@V oh, awesome!
I may be one of a few people here with an oculus quest and a powerful enough PC to run VR, so I am able to test builds quickly on both platforms
@LieutenantSOT Surely there's people who want both.
@Vincent oh, I didn't mean it like that lol
.
I just meant that like the VR players who exclusively want the VR experience are at our hands to build for them
Why wouldn't VR players not be able to build?
You can just take of the headset.
@Kangy awesome!!
@TatsuTheOtaku yeah lol
@jamesPLANESii 😂
Just wait for my B-36... >:)
.
But I completely agree. Looks are nothing if it doesn't perform
Something I’ve hammered myself into doing! @jamesPLANESii
Speaking of which
I have a special horse which is being built, but all I need to do is to get my hands on the beta…
Plus air refueling!
looks live were gonna see more custom cockpits now
Finally! People are gonna be forced to make good flight models! And not just rely on eye candy!
